With the 2026-2027 school year fast approaching, many students, parents, and community members are concerned about the State of Maine's new policy regarding cell phone use in schools, and wondering what implementation of this policy will look like for Sanford students.
To address this, Sanford High School hosted an information night detailing their plan for Yondr pouch implementation, discussing their goals, expectations, and processes with the community. Parents and guardians were able to come share their questions and concerns and hear what this new policy means for communication between them and their students next week.
