SENIORS!!
Your Senior Photo AND Information Sheet are due November 1! If you need assistance with your Senior Photo, reach out to Dr. K (mkleinschmidt@sanford.org) and these next few weeks will be beautiful to get them done here at school. Senior Information Sheets are located outside the Main Office or outside Dr. K’s room (E121).
The nurse's office is no longer using last years Annual Health Records for medication permissions and a new one needs to be submitted in order to be treated in the nurse’s office. This would have been in your beginning of the year packet but if you didn’t fill one out, you can get another one in the nurse’s office.
Free Tennis Lessons will be offered for grades 7-12 Monday-Friday evenings. If you are interested, please contact Michael Lemay @ 207-608-3772

Spartan Café will open Oct. 29! Tuesdays and Thursdays during block 4 (for students) 3&4 (for staff) in the life skills suite in the red wing at the top of the agora. The upcoming menu is:
Next Tuesday, October 29, we will be offering Homemade tomato soup with a ham and cheese panini. Here is the breakdown of prices:
Cup of tomato soup $3.00, Cheese panini w/chips $4.00, Cheese and ham panini w/chips $4.50
Cup of tomato soup and ham and cheese panini $6.00
(If you would like a drizzle of cream on top of soup please tell me on order)
Thursday, October 31 we will be serving our popular homemade macaroni and cheese with breadcrumbs (or you can have them omitted).
Mac and Cheese $4.00
Other items that we serve each cafe day on a regular basis are:
Nachos with cheese, sour cream and salsa $3.00
Spartan Splashers $2.00 choice of cranapple, crangrape, pineapple, fruit punch. Coffee $2.00

CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS
The Health and Wellness Club in the gym is now open every day after school except Wednesdays. All are welcome!
GSTA will be meeting Thursday mornings before school as well as Thursday after school. Please see Mrs. Stanhope in B237 if interested.
Science bowl - The 2025 Science bowl is going to be held in person at USM in February. We would love to have 2 complete teams. We will meet during ST on Thursdays so have your homeroom teacher schedule you to Ms. English.
Peer Helpers will meet on Fridays from 7:30-7:45 AM in the small café
Civil Rights Team will meet on Mondays @ 2:25pm in the library. Please join us to help make the school a place where everyone feels safe, welcome, and respected for who they are!
D&D Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30 in E121 (Dr. K’s room) Come join!

Environmental Club now meets on Monday’s @ 2:30 in Mr. Jeney’s room, E256 at the end of the hall, 2nd floor Blue wing.
The ASL Club runs every Tuesday from 2:30-3:30 pm after school in room E123A. We hope to see you there!

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
There is a local support group for “Grandparents Who Parent” that are looking to have some students volunteer to help with supervision of any small kiddos that may are there during the meetings. It is on Monday nights from 5-6 at SMS. If you are interested, please reach out to Ms. Tracy @ stracy2@sanford.org
The ACTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTG is in need of volunteers for their annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 26th, from 11:00am-5:00pm. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at yvonne@actonptg.com.
