RED DAY
The School Committee is looking for a member of the Class of 2026 to join their board. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to attend School Committee meetings and become involved in discussions involving policies and procedures for the entire district. If you are interested, please pick up an application in the Assistant Principals’ office. This application is to be turned back into the AP office by 2:30 pm on Friday, September 13th.

The Late Bus is now up and running. It will pick students up on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 3:45PM at the flagpole out front.
Freshmen interested in running for class office or student council need to see Mr. Smith in room e150 to collect paperwork. All paperwork for elections are due by Monday, September 16.

SHS Theater Club informational meeting on Monday, September 9 from 2:30-3:30 in the SPAC. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, 9/17 from 2:30-6pm..
Peer Helpers will meet on Fridays from 7:30-7:45 AM in the small café beginning September 13th
Civil Rights Team will meet on Mondays @ 2:25pm in the library. Please join us to help make the school a place where everyone feels safe, welcome, and respected for who they are!
D&D Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30 in E121 (Dr. K’s room) beginning on Tuesday, September 10. Come join!
SHS Book Club will host our first meeting on Thursday, September 12, during Spartan Time (ST). What do we do in Book Club? We read books and discuss them with each other, share our favorite books and genres, and make recommendations to others. We have fun casually talking about books! You can join us for the year, or pick and choose what books you want to join us for. We meet every Thursday, during Spartan Time. For more information, sign up for the library during Thursday's ST. (Scheduling is done during Monday's ST), or see Mrs. Raymond in the library.
Art Club: Do you need a space to be creative? Look no further than joining Art Club! Can't commit to a weekly club? No worries! Drop ins always welcome! See Ms. Simoneau, B127 Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30.
Environmental Club meets Tuesdays 2:30pm after school in Mr. Jeney's room E256. New Members Welcome!!!
The ASL Club will be continuing on Tuesday, September 10th at 2:30 pm in room E121 with Ms. Pulley. We hope to see you there!

Barn Lights in Acton is hosting a 2-night spooky walk on 10/30 & 10/31 with a rehearsal day on the 29th. If you are interested in helping please email Paul Gurney @ 482-0298 for information and details.
Do you like working with young children? If so, then please consider volunteering at North Parish Congregational Church on Sundays from 10:15-12:15 to assist the Sunday School teacher in setting up story time and crafts area for the school aged children, and then play with young children or toddlers in the free play area. Curtis Lake Church is looking for people interested in volunteering for 2 hours every Wednesday night for their weekly meal served to the community. You do not have to go every week but any help is appreciated. If interested please see Mrs. Pattershall in A237.
