Sanford High School senior Tucker Walker won the shot put at the Class A Indoor Track and Field State Championships at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham on Monday, February 19th.
Walker won with a throw of 53 feet, 10 inches, breaking his school record in the process.
His record-breaking throw qualifies him for the New England Indoor Championships on Saturday, March 2, in Roxbury, Massachusetts.
