Sanford High School Peer Helpers took center stage as they hosted the first annual Kindness Awards in the Performing Arts Center on Friday, December 22nd.
The award show not only recognized acts of kindness but also promoted an atmosphere of inclusivity and fun through various engaging activities.
The event kicked off with a lively "Wrap Battle," where students and faculty showcased their creativity and enthusiasm in a friendly competition. This set the tone for an evening filled with laughter, warmth, and a strong sense of togetherness. One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of awards to the kindest individuals across different grade levels.
From freshmen to seniors, students were acknowledged for their displays of compassion and empathy, shining a light on the positive impact of their actions within the school environment.
Additionally, faculty members were also recognized for their contributions to creating a supportive and caring atmosphere at SHS. Adding to the entertainment, the audience was treated to a faculty lip-sync battle.
