There will be No anime club today 4/25.

 

To celebrate National Poetry Month, we will be having a poetry slam in the agora during ST on the 28th.  If you are interested, come see or email Mrs. Raymond in the library (jraymond@sanford.org).  All materials must be pre-approved.  All are welcome to perform or listen to poems.  Your poem can be your original, a friend's original poem, a poem from your favorite author, or song lyrics.

Tri M Music Honors Society is hosting a Coffee House on April 26th at 6pm in the agora. Tickets will be $5 at the door. Sign up on the form below if you have musical act, poetry, comedy, or a skit. $5 gets you in the door and a cup of coffee will be included. Attention Seniors!  Decision Day 2023 is taking place on May 1st during Spartan Time.

It's that time of year again!  Everyone gets a free book (or 2) of your choosing for summer reading.  It's a tough choice, there are 61 books to choose from, and you need to choose only your top 3.  Be sure to read the descriptions of books so you can make an informed decision.

Submissions are due on Wednesday, April 26 so that books can get here before the end of school. Have fun perusing!  Free books

CLUBS AND ORGANIZATION

 

ASL Club meets every Tuesday in room B246 from 2:10-3:00

 

Key Club meets every Monday @ 6:30pm in the small café.

Environmental Club will meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month during Spartan Time in E222 with Ms. Trafelet.  Kids need to sign up with their Spartan Time teacher.

Ocean Bowl will meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month during Spartan Time with Ms. Trafelet.  Kids need to sign up with their Spartan Time teacher.

Chamber Singers will meet on Fridays from 2:30-4:00pm.  See Mr. LaBerge for more info

Health and Wellness Club will run every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the weight room right after school.

Chess & Cribbage Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:10-3:10 in D222

SHS Peer Helpers meet every Friday MORNING @ 7:30am in the small café

Math Team will meet Tuesdays right after school in D243

D&D Club will meet Tuesdays 2:15-3:30 in D242 and Fridays 2:15-3:30 in the Cafeteria

Civil Rights Team: Do you believe that school is a place where students should feel safe, welcomed, respected, and celebrated for who they are? The Sanford Civil Rights Team is the club for you! Please join us on Mondays from 2:15-3:15 in the library.  ALL ARE WELCOME!

Sanford Parks and Recreation is looking for a few good High School Youth who have a true fondness for working with Kiddos K-6th Grade this summer. Life Hacks from your school nurse:  The next time you get an anxiety/panic attack, try pinning your shoulders back. When you get these attacks your bodies natural reaction is to curl up into the fetal position, and by keeping your arms down and shoulders back is a great way to fight that and stay "in reality".
