How long have you been teaching at Carl J. Lamb?
This is my 4th year at CJL.
If you could share one piece of advice with students, what would it be?
Try eliminating the phrase "I'm bored" from your vocabulary. Instead, look for ways to enjoy, learn from or improve whatever situation you're currently in.
What made you want to become an educator?
The creativity and open mindedness of kids inspires me to keep learning and thinking in new ways, and this energy made me want to become a teacher. I'm so lucky that I get to surround myself with such cool humans every day!
What are your interests and hobbies?
I love to hike, bike, go to the beach, and read mystery books.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?
My go-to TV show is Ted Lasso.
If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Caring, friendly and creative.
If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be?
I'm currently learning French with the hopes to one day bike through southern France!
