SANFORD, Maine – The Sanford School Department recently named Jason Dudley the Director of Facilities and Maintenance.

Sanford Superintendent of Schools Matt Nelson nominated Dudley for the position during the February 27th School Committee meeting. The nomination was seconded and voted all in favor by the School Committee.

"I am pleased that Jason Dudley will continue as part of our team in his new role as Director of Facilities and Maintenance," Nelson said. "His experience and familiarity with our schools will be a real asset. As a Sanford High School alumnus and resident of Sanford, he is dedicated and invested in maintaining our wonderful facilities."

Dudley has been a longtime employee of the Sanford School Department. He previously worked as head custodian at Willard School, then as Assistance Director of Facilities and Maintenance. He was named the interim director on January 14th.

"I'm excited to embark on my new role and to help the district," Dudley said. "I'm really looking forward to the challenge and working with each building."
