Before our February break the students and staff at our school were participating in Kindness Activities. As a school, students and staff were sending notes, cards and snacks to the workers assigned to the construction of our new addition. The project is progressing and the construction crew is getting ready to hang the last major beam to the additions’ frame. To thank us for our acts of kindness PC Construction is having all of our students and staff sign our names on the last beam that is to be placed in the addition's frame. While the beam will not be visible once the school's addition is completed. The beam, with all our signatures, will act as a time capsule as it will have the signatures of everyone currently at MCS. Then tomorrow afternoon all the students will watch as the beam is raised by a crane to be put in its final place. Pictured is the beam with our signatures.
