Margaret Chase Smith School

While I was walking through classroom I came upon Mrs. Werner's kindergarten class.  What drew me in was the discussion the class was having about dinosaurs.  Mrs. Werner was reading the book "Dinosaur, Dinosaur" aloud to the class.  after each page Mrs. Werner would prompt the students to notice the special feature each dinosaur had such as spikes, horns or plates.  The discussions were around what the students thought about each special feature each dinosaur had and how the feature protected it.
