Bee Houses

Deb Rosa, Sanford's Technology Specialist spent time in Mrs. Arnold's second grade class at MCS teaching them about the importance of Mason Bees.  The children researched bee houses and how creative they could be. The students along with volunteers and the teachers made bee houses to hang in their own yards.

Eighth grade students in Ms. Sara Nason's class prepared the wood and drilled holes to make it easy for the little ones to put it together.
The children learned that we all need to take care of and help all the bees to keep our ecosystem working.

Thank you, Ms. Rosa, Ms. Nason, the eighth graders, and volunteers for helping to make this happen.
