Marvin aka. Steve Butler leads the MCS rally.

Margaret Chase Smith School held its final "Do the Right Thing" rally for this school year.  MCS has been conducting the "Do the Right Thing" rallies for several years where through songs and skits students learned how to appropriately handle everyday expectations such as how to ride the bus or walk down the hall.  This year the rallies were used to introduce and then conclude school-wide challenges.  The first challenge was on "Kindness" and today we concluded our "Honesty" challenge.  The importance of being "Patient" was demonstrated through a skit where Marvin and two of our staff members, Mrs. Morrison and Ms. Perrin dressed up as 3rd graders, and taught the benefits and rewards we receive when we practice being patient.  The students had a great time and were enthusiastically cheering Marvin on to be patient.  I want to thank Steve and Janelle Butler for donating their time to make our rallies as special as they are.
