APPLICATION/ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Please note: SRTC will accept applications for Fall 2021 enrollment beginning on February 1st, 2021 through March 5th, 2021. Applications received after March 5th will be processed on a space available basis.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a student at the Sanford Regional Technical Center. In order to be considered for admission to one of our programs, please follow the steps in our admissions process listed below:

1. Complete an online APPLICATION by the March 5, 2021 deadline. The application will be made available here on February 1st, 2021.

2. If you applied by our deadline of March 5, 2021 the next steps are as follows: On or after March 8th, you will need to schedule your virtual interview which will take place the 3rd week of March. Information on how to set up your interview and what you will need to know in advance will be on our website, emailed to you, and available in your School Counseling Office. If you are a homeschooled student, SRTC will contact you to set up the interview. Students who apply after the deadline may not be offered an interview.

3. Attend your virtual interview, which should be held the third week of March.

Final decisions regarding student selection and placement will be made by the end of April. Decisions will be communicated to students via mail and/or sent to School Counselors.

Please note that SRTC has a competitive application process. For most programs, we usually have more applicants than we have space. The following factors are considered in reviewing students for placement in programs:

  • indications/signs/depth of interest in the program area

  • grades

  • attendance record

  • recommendation from your high school

  • interview

  • other
