Maine State Geography Bee

Willard Student Qualifies for Maine State Geography Bee

After a month long wait, the results are in!  Cody Rosander, a 5th grade student at Willard School, has qualified to compete at the Maine State Geography Bee hosted by National Geographic.  The event will take place at the University of Maine in Farmington on March 29th.  Cody was crowned Willard School Champion at the end of January.  He was then invited to complete an online test to qualify for the state competition.  His score placed him in the top 100 students in Maine and earns him a spot to test his geographic knowledge against school champions from around the state.  We are proud of Cody's accomplishments and wish him the best of luck in the future! Great work, Cody!
