Every year National Geographic invites students around the country to participate in the national geography bee.  This year nearly 50 fourth and fifth grade students at Willard School participated in the written preliminary test.  The top 9 students then advanced to the school competition.  A big congratulations to all participants!

After 15 rounds of brain puzzling geography questions, a school champion emerged.  The top three students are; 1st place Cody Rosander, 2nd place Timothy McGee, 3rd place Grayson Lederer.  Cody will now be taking an online test to see if he qualifies to compete at the Maine State Geography Bee held in March.  Good luck and congratulations!
