Sanford High School

The Challenge Day assembly challenged students from Acton, Sanford Junior High, and Sanford High School to "Be the Change" today in the Sanford High Competition gym.  Students from all three schools were welcomed to build community and empower students to shift school culture to become a more exclusive one.  That way they can express themselves without feeling judged by others.  They brought our students together and showed them how to have empathy and show compassion.  The students were engaged and attentive and walked out the doors positive and ready to take the first step towards being the change.  Following the assembly, SJHS students and Acton students had a quick tour of the new High School before heading back to their schools.  An exciting day for all those involved!
