Part of the construction of a new school is to enhance it with artwork created by local artists. The mural of Number One Pond is now one of the first things visitors to SHS will see. It was created by Amanda Edwards and Hilary Zayed. The mural is enhanced with tiles depicting Sanford of old around the outside border.
