All School Meals Free Through 12/31/20!

School meals are free for all enrolled students through the end of 2020, whether they are in school or participating in distance learning.

The USDA is extending flexibilities established over the summer through December 31, 2020, which will allow us to continue serving free meals to all students using federal funds. This includes pick-up meals established due to remote learning.

Distance learners may pick up school meals at Lafayette School from 11:00 to 11:30 on days when there is school.  Meals should be pre-ordered by 7:00 p.m. the night before using the online order form.  The form are located under Family Links - Food & Nutrition on the Sanford School Department website.  FMI call the School Nutrition Program office at 608-8762.

Families are encouraged to submit Free & Reduced Meal applications before October 31st.  Students eligible for free or reduced priced meals may be eligible for other benefits such as reduced program fees, waived test fees, enrichment opportunities and more.  When households submit an application, it also helps the district receive valuable funding and resources.   Families may apply online at myschoolapps.com.
