Students from all over the state had the opportunity to go to the SKILLSUSA Leadership Conference at Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor on Thursday, December 5th-Friday, December 6th. Sanford Regional Technical Center brought 10 students and 2 advisors, all from different programs, to the event. Students went bowling and played pool as some icebreakers to get to know each other on the first night. On Friday, the agenda started with a conference-wide icebreaker bingo. After that, we had choices of seminars to attend on topics such as information about college, college finance, becoming an officer/leader in Skills USA, and professionalism. There were over 250 students and advisors from around the state in attendance. Presenters and Skills USA alumni made this an informational experience.
