Electronic Nicotine Device System (ENDS) Open Forum

From Kristen Faucher, on Behalf of Maine Prevention Services and The Center of Tobacco Independence:

 Dear School and Community Members,

As you may be aware, many schools and communities across Maine face growing challenges with Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS), commonly called vaping, and are looking for ways to effectively address adolescent use of these devices. Our partners at the Center for Tobacco Independence and the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention would like to learn more about the challenges and concerns that schools and communities are facing, understand what is working locally, and what resources they might need to address this important health issue.

We are holding an open forum event for school and community leaders to voice their experiences and challenges with youth vaping. We welcome you to join us on May 14th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm at Sanford High School in the new Agora.
