3D Printed Cars

During library time with Mrs. Miliano, all Carl Lamb 2nd graders had the opportunity to design their own cars using the Morphi EDU app on the iPads.  These cars were then printed on the library’s 3D printers.  The Perloff Foundation donated two of the printers to the school and the CJL PTA purchased the third printer.  After all of the cars were printed, students raced them in their classrooms.  They collected data about the car races and wrote lab reports as part of the 2nd grade Writer’s Workshop Lab Reports and Science Books unit.
